Junior Science Café
The Junior Science Café (JSC) is a project where young people between the ages of 14 and 18 organize roundtable meetings with experts from a variety of disciplines to discuss scientific issues in a relaxed atmosphere. The focus lies on the students’ own initiative: They select the topic as well as the experts, and plan and moderate the meetings. The JSC touches on trends in science, research and society. The Junior Science Café: Think digital! series invites debate on questions concerning the digital society. Secondary schools throughout Germany can apply for participation in the project.
The project is a cooperation between the ‘Wissenschaft im Dialog’ initiative and Deutsche Telekom Stiftung.
