Early Education.

Day care centers and elementary schools give young generations the tools they need to succeed in tomorrow's world. By starting learning processes and fostering individual talent, the schools teach children knowledge that they won't easily forget as they climb the academic ladder. And with the right support, they can build on this knowledge throughout their scholastic careers.

Germany's early education system is in dire need of improvement. Especially its day care centers have weaknesses not shared by other countries. The transition from pre-elementary to elementary education is still far from smooth. Deutsche Telekom Stiftung intends to address these weaknesses with Early Education projects.

Our main target groups: pre-elementary and elementary teachers. We want to help them develop specific, valuable skills by developing support tools and teaching materials for their day-to-day work, promoting alternative learning and teaching methods, and providing continuing education.
